North London Street Dance Academy was founded with a simple idea, to make dance fun, accessible, and empowering for children of all ages. What began as a small group of local classes has grown into a thriving academy, welcoming hundreds of students each year. Over the years, NLSDA has become a vibrant community where children not only learn to dance but also build friendships, resilience and a love of movement.

PPA Cover: Curriculum-linked dance programs tailored to KS1 & KS2
We deliver structured dance sessions that are fully linked to the national curriculum, designed to support physical education requirements while making learning fun and engaging. Each program is tailored to suit KS1 and KS2, helping pupils develop coordination, teamwork, and confidence in line with their stage of learning.
After-School Clubs: Street dance, hip-hop, break dance and freestyle programs
Our after-school clubs offer a safe, inclusive space for children to explore exciting dance styles such as street dance, hip-hop, break dance, and freestyle. These sessions encourage creativity, self-expression, and physical fitness, while also giving pupils the chance to build friendships and have fun beyond the classroom.
Breakfast Clubs: Energising dance sessions to kickstart the day
We run morning sessions that get children moving, energised, and ready to focus. These upbeat dance activities not only promote healthy habits but also improve concentration and mood, ensuring pupils start their school day positively and productively.
Workshops & Events: For school fetes, Black History Month, Mental Health Awareness
We provide themed workshops and performances to support a variety of school events and celebrations, such as fetes, Black History Month, and Mental Health Awareness initiatives. These interactive sessions are designed to inspire, educate, and unite pupils through the power of dance.
