Terms & Conditions

  • It will be a requirement for members of North London Street Dance Academy to pay for all the classes in the term. These classes should be paid in advance of term.
  • North London Street Dance Academy operates on a term-based payment system. 100% of the fee must be paid before the start of term if paying in full. As our costs are fixed, fees remain payable in cases of absence or injury.
  • North London Street Dance Academy requires Fees to be paid in full except where prior authority has been given by Director – Nichola Brown for instalments.
  • North London Street Dance Academy require half a term’s notice if you wish to withdraw your child from the classes mid-term. Termination will only be accepted when received by Director- Nichola Brown in writing. Only then can a refund be offered for the remaining sessions.
  • North London Street Dance Academy are not responsible for ensuring emergency contact details are up to date. Parents are solely responsible to keep us informed of any changes. Parent/guardian must inform teacher present upon an alternative friend or family member picking up/ dropping off or accepting responsibility on that occasion.
  • North London Street Dance Academy requires 48 hours’ notice for cancellation of all pre-booked private sessions or the full cost will be charged.
  • North London Street Dance Academy will be taking photographs & video footage of sessions & performances that will be used to improve our students & to publicise North London Street Dance Academy. Signing this Agreement means you are giving your parental/carer consent to North London Street Dance Academy to take these photographs & videos.  If for any reason you do not agree for this to happen please inform/discuss with North London Street Dance Academy Director-Nichola Brown before signing this Agreement. North London Street Dance Academy parents/carers can take photographs & videos during performances. However, North London Street Dance Academy reserves the right to restrict permission when this is not appropriate.
  • North London Street Dance Academy do not allow parents/carers to take photographs or videos during class or rehearsals for the safeguarding of children.
  • North London Street Dance Academy reserves the right to use cover teachers or replacement teachers as required.  In accordance with the Vetting & Barring Scheme all regular staff at North London Street Dance Academy will have a DBS check; they will have been interviewed & supplied 2 references.
  •  Individuals who work occasionally for North London Street Dance Academy may not require a CRB check, however, we will assess this on an individual basis & we will ensure these individuals will never be left alone with your children.
  • In accordance with the Data Protection Act (1970) personal details will be held for administration, organisational function, to meet child protection requirements & for mailing notifications of classes, timetables, performances & updates.
  • North London Street Dance Academy serves the local community of Enfield & expects its members to be considerate & polite, not make excessive noise or cause a nuisance. NLSDA want litter to be disposed of appropriately. We ask that parents/Carers please park considerately so as not to inconvenience our neighbours.
  • North London Street Dance Academy reserves the right to restrict admission at its own discretion.
  • North London Street Dance Academy will not enter into any discussion with third parties about casting or placement in performances/showcases. By registering for a class students agree to ‘play as cast’.
  • If you must self- isolate due to covid via your child’s school or any other personal circumstances, you will be not able to attend North London Street Dance Academy during this time and refunds cannot be offered.
  • If UK Gov guidelines require North London Street Dance Academy to close doors you will receive credit notes or refunds for any sessions missed.
  • Any complaints about North London Street Dance Academy need to be put in writing, a response will be provided within 5 working days.

  • I have been provided with, understand & accept all the terms & conditions outlined in the above Statement of Intent & Parent/Carer Agreement
    A copy of this Agreement will be retained by North London Street Dance Academy
